- Gapyeong-gun: Gapyeong Begonia and Bird Garden. Newly opened in 2024, this attraction is a paradise for nature lovers.
Step into a lush botanical garden / aviary and enjoy the opportunity to interact with alpacas, sheep, and rabbits in the accompanying yard. - Gangchon Rail Park: Pedal along an old rail road track and enjoy views of the North Han River that change with the seasons. Famously featured on the Korean game show "Running Man," this is the longest Rail Bike attraction in Korea.
- The Garden of Morning Calm: Named for an old-fashioned epithet for Korea in English, "The Land of Morning Calm," this arboretum was designed and planted as a labor of love by Horticulture Professor Han Sang-kyeong in the 1990s. It currently features 22 gardens with different themes, and hosts seasonal festivals throughout the year.

Take a break from the hustle and bustle of Seoul to enjoy some of the most scenic attractions in Gapyeong county.
First, we'll stop at the newly-opened Begonia Bird Park. Wander through greenhouses filled with tropical flowers and exotic birds, and pet and feed animals like ducks and rabbits outside.
Next, it's off on Korea's longest rail bike attraction at Gangchon Rail Park. Set on abandoned railroad tracks that run through the North Han River valley, the bike offers some exclusive views of the surrounding countryside, which transforms with the seasons.
Finally, we'll take in the sights and smells of the Garden of Morning Calm. This site is a favorite in Korea for its twenty-two themed gardens, inviting nature trails, and over 5,000 different plant species--many of them exclusive to the Korean peninsula.
