- This is the 2nd largest mosque in Oman, named after the late sultan. The mosque has a separate praying place for the males and females. Can stop at the mosque if you want to pray there.
- Nizwa Souq: It is one of the oldest souks in the country. This souk has craft, food and livestock markets. Nizwa is particularly famous for crafting the silver khanjar (traditional curved dagger). There is a Goat Market, home to Nizwa's famous Friday Market where locals come to trade livestock-cows and goats in particular-which is sold by auction.
- Nizwa Fort Oman: This Fort has been strategically built atop a hill overlooking the ancient village with its colorful domes and bustling market below.
- Bahla Fort: The oldest and first Omani fort to be built in the Islamic style. It is the largest fort in Oman.
- Bahla souq is good for pottery and antique shopping
- There is a wall that surrounds the ancient town of Bahla. The tour will show you the remains of that ancient wall.
- Jibreen Castle: it is 45 km from Nizwa. The castle displays beautiful ceiling paintings and intricate wood carvings.
